Sterling silver wire and beads with Amethyst

This item is featured in my book 'Wire Jewelry Masterclass'.I was inspired last spring by a fern in my garden unfurling it's leaves, which lead to this design with it's loops and spirals. I have made this necklace with sterling silver wire and beads of faceted shaded Amethyst, ranging from pale lilac to deep purple. Each bead has been individually wrapped in sterling silver wire. Three faceted Lilac Amethyst drops hang from the loops at the bottom of the necklace, which have also been wrapped in Sterling silver wire.
A loop of textured Sterling silver rolo chain connects the centre piece to the necklace with a wrapped link with a faceted purple Amethyst bead either side.
I have oxidised the whole piece to really highlight the detail.
The centre piece is 1 7/8" wide and 1 7/8" tall (from the top loop to the bottom of the drop). The necklace is 18" long.
