I have used the construction methods in my Circles and Spirals pendant to create the shell for this turtle brooch. The body was shaped and then woven separately, then attached to the shell.
I have used Aventurine beads and a new Jade oval bead. The brooch is 2" head to tail and 1 3/4" across.
