I developed this ring design from my Oyster Cup pendant and a larger version of this is featured in my book.

The stone I have used is a 14 x 7 mm marquise facet Brazilian amethyst, so much smaller than the stones I have previously used for this design. As a result, I made the setting with 6 woven prongs, instead of the 8 I normally use to allow for the smaller size.

I have used copper wire and the ring is size N (US size 6 1/2).
