In this lesson you will learn to make this delicate, flowing necklace. There are many techniques used for this piece including:-
• Adding beads to wire weave
• Creating a wire wrapped oval bead to use as a focal point (this could also be used for a pendant on its own).
• Layering wire onto a central structure wire.
Part of the challenge is holding the structure wires in place whilst weaving and ensuring the thin wire doesn’t kink.
Although this tutorial teaches a specific design, the techniques used can be applied to create any design/shape that you like.
This tutorial assumes you know how to make wrapped loops.
